Peanut Meal Fertilizer

Peanut meal fertilizer delivers a 100% plant-based, slow-release organic soil amendment made from de-oiled peanut kernels remaining after peanut oil extraction. This nutrient-rich fertilizer typically provides an N-P-K analysis of 8-1-2 (8% nitrogen, 1% phosphate, and 2% potash), making it an exceptional and sustainable nitrogen source for heavy-feeding crops, lawns, and gardens.

Nutrient Analysis & Composition

Total Nitrogen (8%) – Soil microbes gradually break down the natural vegetable proteins, releasing nitrogen steadily to support healthy, sustained plant growth.

Available Phosphate (1%) – Promotes strong root establishment while supporting flower and fruit development.

Soluble Potash (2%) – Improves overall plant vigor and helps plants tolerate environmental stress.

Texture – Features a fine, slightly dusty powder that resists granulation because of its natural composition.

Key Benefits

Won’t Burn Plants – Soil microbes release nutrients slowly, reducing the risk of fertilizer burn often associated with fast-acting synthetic fertilizers.

Builds Healthy Soil – Encourages beneficial microbial activity that improves soil structure, increases organic matter, and promotes long-term fertility.

Plant-Based & Sustainable – Offers a vegan, animal-free alternative to blood meal and feather meal. Many formulations also qualify for OMRI listing for organic production.

Ideal Uses & Application Rates

Vegetable Gardens & Raised Beds – Apply 2–5 pounds per 100 square feet. Works especially well for heavy-feeding crops such as corn, kale, broccoli, and cabbage.

Lawns & Turf – Apply 5–10 pounds per 1,000 square feet to encourage healthy, organic green growth.

Containers – Mix 1–2 tablespoons per gallon of potting soil before planting to provide a steady source of nutrients throughout the growing season.
